There is nothing of this world that will satisfy. We have to make a choice for ourselves to follow God.

Easter is the biggest date on the Christian calendar. Good Friday marks Jesus' death. His blood poured out for us. Willingly made a sacrifice. So that we have the choice to live in direct relationship with God.
