Pastor Dave Gilpin has a theory that many believers were more ‘exciting’ before they believed than after they believed! Before they were rescued by Christ, they spent their weekends painting the town red. Now they spend their weekends painting the church beige! 

Why is that? Believers should be the most passionate, creative and adventurous people on the planet.

Often we are presented with the lie - don't bother.

But just like the woman with the blood issue who wanted to just touch Jesus, we need to push through and past the lie 'don't bother'.

If we just push through, we can encounter Jesus, and even one encounter can be life changing. But it shouldn't stop there.

God wants to meet you where you're at, and he wants to fill you.

Jesus told the disciples to drop their nets on the other side of the boat, and their nets were filled to the point of breaking. This is the life that God wants for you. He wants your life to be filled with blessing, overflowing and running over.

God doesn't call anyone to poverty. That is not the heart of God. Others may have overlooked you, but Jesus chose you.

Just as Peter stepped out of the Boat to come out to Jesus on the water, we need to put our trust in the Lord and step out of our boat to walk to Jesus.

We need to exercise our faith when Jesus tells us to walk towards Him, we need to trust Him. There's nothing on this earth that is stronger than the power of God. When we have faith, everything shifts.

Mother's Day can bring different emotions to different people, but whatever Mother's Day means for you, we wouldn't be here without our mother's.

Pastor Carolyn brings an excellent message on A Mother's Influence, and shares 7 lessons that she learned from her mum as well as reflecting on the transition from mum to nonna. 

The biggest gift we can give our kids, is our faith in Jesus.

Pastor Claude unpacks a passage of scripture in Proverbs and how it can relate to our live and walks with God.

The gardens that are talked about in this scripture can be likened to our spiritual lives. Some people have weeds growing. They haven't taken over the whole garden yet but if there's no action taken to uproot those things, then they might take over. Some people have a healthy garden with good soil thats right for sowing and growing new things. This is something that has to be continuously managed and it's what we should all strive for.

Your gifts in action show the love of God, and your love towards others. If you're just a spectator, you'll live a passive life. Living a life of purpose will unlock your gifts.

Pastor Chris continues our series 'Use It or Lose It' as he unpacks what it means to be known.

Whatever we fill ourselves up with is what we worship. If we fill ourselves up with worldly entertainment then that's what we'll worship. But God says that He will pour out His spirit, and that's what we should fill ourselves up on.

Our Use It or Lose It series has already been so powerful! As Pastor Claude continues, around the parable in Matthew 25, we learn that whatever we have, if we invest it through labour, it will multiply, and if we work what we have, we will be entrusted with more.

God has given all of us gifts - we need to use them. To do that - identify your gift, initiate contact with your gift, impart your gift, and then help others find their gifts.

As we continue our series 'Use It or Lose It', Pastor Carolyn preaches on using your faith.

You have to work your faith for it to grow - it's like a muscle. You have to have a mind of faith. Fix your thoughts on God and watch Him move powerfully in your life. Share your faith daily so that others around you might come to know Jesus as well. This doesn't have to be with our words. The way we live our lives can be a great example to others.

Pastor Claude continues our theme 'Use It or Lose It' as he unpacks the parable of the farmer sowing seed.

This parable is the key to understanding all other parables. Anyone who hears God's Word, gains access to the supernatural Power of God. BUT it doesn't work unless you work it. You are rewarded for applying the Word to your life, not for sitting on the sidelines being a spectator in church.

Start small and watch God grow what you have and give you more.
