Much like David had to wait years after his anointing to be appointed as king, we sometimes have to wait for things to happen that we want to happen.

Sometimes you have to take a step of faith even when you can't see what's ahead of you. This is what Jesus wanted Peter to do, step out of the boat and trust Him.

As we celebrated Fathers Day we had a panel of men who lead their families in a Godly way. There was insight from what they would do differently as a dad and parent as well as acknowledging the need for men to rise up as the head of the home. 

The takeaway was to lead as Jesus lead, and be a father much like God is a Father to us all.

Believing in God and Heaven and everything that makes up our belief takes faith. But it takes much more faith to believe in evolution if you actually look at the probability of the event.

God blesses us with purpose through the empowerment of His Holy Spirit. Take control of the things that you can. give structure to your life. God works in structure. And allow God to breathe into you. When He breathes He creates purpose.

It’s okay to feel empty, but you have to choose to run to God in these moments rather than the natural things that we often turn to. When we run to God, he fills us with His promises and His purpose.
