I Believe in Breakthrough
Monday Nov 30, 2020
Monday Nov 30, 2020
God wants to breakthrough on your behalf. The narratives that stop us from experiencing God's breakthrough power is the internal dialogue of "There's nothing I can do".
To overcome this - resist. Resist the work of the enemy in your life. Resist anything that will take you off the path that God has laid out in front of you.
Just like David came before God to receive his breakthrough, we should do the same. Press in and believe.

Living an Intentional Life
Monday Nov 23, 2020
Monday Nov 23, 2020
We are called as Christians to reach people and help them discover Jesus. This requires intentionality.
When we meet people that aren't Christians, we should be the example for them, the shining light in a world of darkness. They should be able to see Jesus through our character and the way we carry ourselves. That means that we shouldn't be 'Sunday Christians' or acting one way at home and another way at work, our lives should carry the Good News of Jesus.

Take Another Look
Monday Nov 16, 2020
Monday Nov 16, 2020
Ps Claude unpacks the four faces of God found in scripture, and how we need to be looking at scripture to find our identity in Christ, not our shortcomings.
The four faces of God have a spiritual meaning, but also a practical meaning, and both apply to us. Spiritually, these faces represent Kingship, service, intelligence and divinity. Practically, they represent Pushing, remaining planted, the price we pay and praying.
Just as these four faces represent God and His character, they are also found in each and every one of us.

I Believe We're Called to More

What does it mean to go to church in 2020?
As Pastor Chris continues our series 'I Believe', he talks about what the church looks like today, and what it means to belong, and play apart in the local church.
Jesus spoke about this when he referred to the Ecclesia - which means assembly or congregation. What it means to be the church today is to represent Jesus to those who don't know Him, so that simply by the way we conduct ourselves, those around us will be attracted to the Church and the message of hope that we carry.

I Believe the Promises Depend on Faith
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Monday Nov 02, 2020
Faith must be activated, switched on, and acted upon.
Ps Claude spoke about activating faith, and letting God take care of what you think is out of your ability.
Time and truth heal, and whether the situation you're in is great, or terrible, God can still use it to bring blessing. We need to have closure and acceptance mindsets and remember that in life, pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice.

God Needs Your Hands
Monday Oct 26, 2020
Monday Oct 26, 2020
Just as Moses positioned himself on top of the hill with his hands raised, God wants us to position ourselves with our hands raised to surrender in prayer, our hands out to commit to relationship, and our hands under to resource the work of God.
Ps Claude continues our series 'I Believe' this week with a powerful message based in Exodus 17, focussing on the importance of our hands and what we can do both practically and spiritually.

I Believe in the Power of God
Monday Oct 19, 2020
Monday Oct 19, 2020
We live in a world of unbelief. Where the narrative is embraced, not the truth. Even when the narrative is debunked, we are left skeptical.
Ps Claude launched our new series 'I Believe' with this powerful message about the truth of the Gospel. Ps Claude talked about 6 pillars of truth that we as Christians can look to, when confusion sets in and we don't know what to believe.

Unfamiliar Jesus
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
We have to become unfamiliar with what we've become familiar with, and vice versa. Jesus was unable to perform miracles in His hometown because the people that lived there were familiar with Jesus, which hindered their ability to receive.
God never stops working, but we have a tendency to build walls that means we might not experience what God has for us.

Heavenly Encounters
Monday Oct 05, 2020
Monday Oct 05, 2020
Pastor Rob continues our series 'Heavenly Encounters' by digging in to Luke 1.
The Word of God can mess up your plans, much like Mary and Joseph becoming pregnant with Jesus.
Sometimes and encounter like this means you have to change what you do and hang around with. It's beneficial to find someone who's going through something similar to you or someone who was been through what you are going through.

God encounters can transform us and give us vision, purpose, direction - healing and hope.
As we continue our Heavenly Encounters theme, Ps Carolyn talks about two encounters that changed her life.
A real encounter with Jesus leads to radical change in intimacy with your Heavenly Father. You need your own encounter with God, this will allow you to grow more intimately in your relationship with God and allow Him to use you to impact others.
